Best Of New Orleans 2017 voting has ended_lowres

Voting has ended for 2017's Best of New Orleans readers' poll. Gambit's 31st annual poll is your chance to declare your favorites in all kind of categories, from restaurants and bars to music and media and places to shop.

Only one ballot per person will be counted, and voters must complete at least 25 percent of the ballot for votes to count - that's a grand total of at least 36 questions, but we know you've got more opinions than that.

Overwhelmed? Don't worry! Your answers are saved. Come back as many times as you want to finish filling out the rest, or to change your answers. Your ballot isn't submitted until the voting period is over. Voting ends at 11:59 p.m. July 30.

There are some new categories this year ("Best Sports Mascot," "Best Food Delivery App," among a few others, plus the return of "Best Vape Shop"), and, of course, returning favorites like "Best New Restaurant" and "Best Local Scandal."

You can campaign to win in your respective category with Gambit's free promotional kit, from good ol' fashioned posters to social media buttons (also using #BONO2017).

And! Voters who complete 100 percent of the ballot will be entered to win a prize package with gift cards to Emeril's, The Broad Theater and the Audubon Institute valued at $275.

Yes, we know if you're cheating. Your votes won't count. So, don't cheat.

And as always, the results are all yours. Don't want lame people, places and things topping the list? Then get to voting.

The 2017 Best of New Orleans issue is out Aug. 29.
