The unrelenting Louisiana reality TV show trend continues with two forthcoming shows.

Premiering Aug. 21 on the WeTV — which seems to be a channel mostly about cakes and weddings (and sometimes, wedding cakes) — is Big Easy Brides, which documents the antics at Tony and Lou Ann Talavera's French Quarter Wedding Chapel. The clip from the series' website (embedded below) shows a bondage-themed wedding, a bride emerging from a coffin, a possible case of incest, and lots of nudity obscured by illustrations of hurricane drinks. Ah, the sanctity of marriage — N'awlins style!

This week Spike TV announced a new slate of reality shows for 2012 including the similarly named Big Easy Justice, which follows "bounty hunter Tat-2 and his 'Elite Recovery Team'" as they "hunt down elusive criminals in post-Katrina New Orleans." You may remember Tat-2 from WGNO-TV's groundbreaking crime fighting initiative Wheel of Justice. According to Spike, "production companies headed by Jennifer Lopez and Today weathercaster Al Roker are behind the project." (Huh?) I, personally, am a little more excited about World's Worst Tenants.

What Louisiana-themed reality shows do you think are next in the pipeline? I'm hoping That's So Nagin!, Ceeping up with the Copelands and Tulane Sugar Babies are in the works.
