Shotgun Cinema's summer screening series at the University of New Orleans' Robert E. Nims Theatre continues tonight with Roar at 7 p.m. and Chopping Mall at 9 p.m. Roar is director Noel Marshall's legendary 1970s cinematic debacle in which dozens of lions, tigers and other large cats starred in an adventure movie that put Marshall's cast, crew and family in mortal danger. Read our review of the film here. Chopping Mall is a 1986 slasher movie co-produced by exploitation-movie innovator Roger Corman that has acquired special status among aficionados of campy horror.

Tickets for each screening are $7 and $5 for students. More info here.
