The five remaining members of Monty Python's Flying Circus have begun a 10-night run of the show Monty Python Live (mostly) at London's O2 Arena. The show has been billed as the troupe's "greatest hits with new bits added" and "the last time" the members would reunite. A review of opening night (which sold out in 43 seconds last November) published in yesterday's edition of The New York Times describes the show's production design (by Python member Terry Gilliam) as "Salvador Dalí let loose on the Ziegfeld Follies." The run's final show will be broadcast live to select theaters across the country, including the Elmwood Palace in Harahan, on July 20 at 1:30 p.m. The three-hour show will be screened again on July 23 and 24 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $18 and available here.
