Move over Jimmy Graham: This is the feel-good story of the Saints' offseason.

Earlier this week, the Saints announced that Kriste Lewis, a 40-year-old mother of two with an incurable kidney disease, had earned a spot on the Saintsations dance team. Lewis' achievement made news locally and then, two days ago, she was featured on Good Morning America (video above).

Now Lewis is making international headlines. In the past few days, her story has has appeared in new outlets in Canada (in English and French), Mexico, Italy, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Brazil. This is on top of the story being picked up by the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, Buzzfeed and E! Online.

Lewis, a dance instructor who lives in Mississippi with her husband and two sons, suffers from polysistic kidney disease, which leads to dialysis and will require her to eventually get transplants. As has been reported in all the outlets linked to above, Lewis just wanted to try out for the team and didn't think she would actually make it.

Lewis is now just the second 40-year-old cheerleader in the NFL. In terms of international fame, though, she's second to none.
