New Orleans Hornet's point guard Chris Paul is widely considered to be among the N.B.A.'s brightest stars. Paul has reached the highest echelon of an N.B.A. player-a starter in the N.B.A's All-Star Game. He and teammate forward David West enjoyed their All-Star Game experience but were not overwhelmed by the All-Star Game's glitz.

Sunday night the pair from the "Big Easy" assisted the Western Conference All-Stars in the 119-146 blowout over the East. Paul had a double-double with 14 points 14 assists and 7 rebounds in his second All-Star game. Also In his second appearance as an All-Star, West had six points in just 14minutes.

Though it was undoubtedly an honor for both Paul and West to be selected to the All-Stars team the jubilation will be definitely short-lived. Upon they're arrival to New Orleans they'll return to an under achieving 30 and 20 Hornets team that is desperately looking for some good news for the second half of the season.
