French Quarter Fest lineup announced_lowres

The French Quarter Festival has announced its lineup for the 28th annual weekend of free music and un-free (but great) food, which will be held in the guess-where Apr. 7-10.

That's right — the fest is expanding to four days, which means we might actually have a Locals Thursday, just like Jazzfest.

Acts will be performing over 17 stages around the Vieux Carre.

The exact schedule is still TBA (not surprisingly, there's an app for that), but overall it's a solid representation of Louisiana musical talent. Check the lineup under the jump.
