Raising Cane’s breakfast menu triggers excitement on social media, but ... _lowres

A photo of a Raising Cane’s breakfast menu triggered social media chatter from Caniacs who were thrilled at the idea of starting their day with biscuit stuffed with chicken tenders.

But a spokeswoman for the company said the breakfast menu is just offered at San Antonio International Airport, where Cane’s has had a location since 2010.

Julie Perrault, a spokeswoman for Cane’s, said San Antonio airport regulations require that restaurants serve breakfast. There are no plans to offer breakfasts at other Cane’s locations, she said.

While other fast food and quick service restaurants have moved into the breakfast arena, it’s not surprising that Cane’s is staying out. The restaurant has concentrated on “One Love” — a limited menu of chicken tenders, fries, cole slaw, Texas toast and Cane’s sauce. Focusing on just those few items allows Cane’s to offer high quality meals, the company says.

Still, based on the social media responses, there is a hunger for a Cane’s breakfast. As one Twitter commentator said after seeing the breakfast menu “There is a God.”
