AL COPELAND FOUNDATION: The Al Copeland Foundation Golf Fest raised $56,000 for local cancer research May 5 at Lakewood Golf Club in New Orleans.
The Al Copeland Foundation is a public charity formed after entrepreneur Al Copeland Sr.’s death in 2008 of Merkel cell carcinoma. To date it has donated more than $1 million to “Change the Course of Cancer.”
