New Orleans police recovered a man's body from the Mississippi River on Sunday.
The body was found around 12:30 p.m. p.m. in the river by the Henry Clay Avenue Wharf nearby Audubon Zoo, police said. A tugboat driver spotted the victim floating in the water and pushed the body to the shore.
Police didn’t say whether there were any signs of trauma on the body and whether foul play is suspected, according to a WWL-TV report. An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
