Update, 8 p.m. Monday: A 19-year-old man died in a shooting Monday in the 400 block of North Rocheblave Street, New Orleans police said.
Detectives were at a fueling station on St. Louis and North Broad streets around 3:30 p.m. when they heard gunfire, the New Orleans Police Department said in a news release. The detectives drove to the area and found the man’s body in the street. He had been shot multiple times, NOPD said.
Emergency medical paramedics arrived at the scene and pronounced him dead.
The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family members.
