A manhunt preceded by a string of armed robberies in Uptown New Orleans on Sunday night ended with four suspects arrested, according to the New Orleans Police Department.

At 6:11 p.m. in the 5100 block of Camp Street, NOPD said a man, 28, was walking to his home when two men got out of their car, confronted the victim and took the man's wallet, which included two debit cards and $10.

At 6:24 p.m., a man, 56, and woman, 53, in the 7000 block of Camp Street near Audubon Park were robbed at gunpoint by three men, according to the New Orleans Police Department. The suspects stole the two victims' wallets and some of the groceries they were carrying.

At 6:45 p.m., a woman, 62, was walking with some groceries in the 5100 block of Willow Street when three men approached her. The victim attempted to run away, but the suspects pushed her to the ground. When the victim started to scream, the suspects got spooked and fled.

And at 7 p.m. in the 2100 block of Fern Street. A man, 31, was approached by three men with semi-automatic guns, according to NOPD. The suspects took the victim's wallet then fled in an SUV but were arrested by NOPD later in the evening.

In all four robberies, the suspects fled in a Toyota 4Runner. NOPD said it targeted the car described and was able to track it down near the corner of South Claiborne and Louisiana avenues. When officers attempted to stop the vehicle, a chase began and ended at Loyola Avenue and Jena Street. From there the four suspects fled on foot, but, with the help of a K-9 unit, all were caught.

The suspects arrested include Morris Smith, 17; Taman Martin, 18; Darrell Quinn, 19; and Tevin Quinn, 20.

Two other unrelated armed robberies occured in the city late Sunday night and early Monday morning.

At 9:40 p.m. NOPD also reported an armed robbery near the intersection of South Carrollton Avenue and South Claiborne avenues. A man was walking toward his home when the armed suspect approached him from behind and robbed him.

Just after midnight, NOPD reported another armed robbery in the 1400 block of Dante Street. A man and a woman were approached by two men who robbed them.
