CASA JEFFERSON PLAYHOUSE: CASA Jefferson will be the beneficiary of the raffle of an artful playhouse created by Terrance Osborne, Matthew Holdren, Maria Barcelona and Matthew Ponseti.

METAIRIE SANCTUARY ON THE LAKE: A crawfish boil fundraiser will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 22, to raise money to purchase the lakeshore Cenacle property at 5500 St. Mary St. and open it to the public as a nature preserve.

The project is being led by Metairie sanctuary on the Lake, a nonprofit group. Earlier this year, the group raised $125,000 to purchase the exclusive option on the 8.1-acre site.
