One of the men suspected of taking part in a May 13 shooting in the parking lot of Melba’s Restaurant that left one man dead was arrested Friday night in Austin, Texas.

U.S. Marshals Service spokesman Hector Gomez said Jenaro McBride, 23, was taken into custody without incident in north Austin by the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force.

Along with Jacob Love, McBride is accused of shooting Toby Roche, 24, as Roche sat in a car in the parking lot of the popular Elysian Fields Avenue po-boy shop.

Love was captured the day of the shooting after SWAT teams and police descended upon the St. Roch neighborhood in a manhunt, but McBride escaped police until now.

McBride was located after New Orleans officials tipped off Austin authorities that he was hiding in the 9500 block of Dessau Road with friends. He is in the custody of the Travis County Sheriff’s Office pending extradition.
