Residents and businesses on several streets in the Warehouse District will experience low water pressure from 9 a.m. to noon Friday and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday while Sewerage & Water Board crews repair a series of broken water valves in the area.
The streets affected are: along John Churchill Chase Street from Convention Center Boulevard to Magazine Street, along Annunciation Street from Andrew Higgins Drive to John Churchill Chase, along South Peters Street from Andrew Higgins to John Churchill Chase, along Andrew Higgins from Magazine to Convention Center , and along Constance Street from Andrew Higgins to John Churchill Chase.
Traffic will be affected as follows: John Churchill Chase will be completely closed from Annunciation to Constance, and the left lane of South Peters will be closed from John Churchill Chase to Andrew Higgins.
In addition, customers in part of Uptown will experience low water pressure from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday as crews repair two 4-inch water valves that serve the area. The affected streets will be St. Charles Avenue between St. Andrew and First streets, and Josephine Street between Camp Street and St. Charles.
