It appears that the “WhoCat” is missing.
A Craigslist ad posted Sunday asks for information that could lead to the safe return of Zoey, a lost orange and black calico cat. But that’s no ordinary cat.
Zoey gained a measure of fame when she was spotted in the Superdome during the Saints 31-21 victory over the Falcons on Thursday, Oct. 15. Social media dubbed her the WhoCat, and she quickly become a viral sensation. (Superdome security confirmed that, as a service animal, Zoey was allowed in the Dome.)
According to the Craigslist ad, Zoey recently ran off from Uncle Bob’s Storage on General DeGualle. The owner, who says in the ad that he believes someone has Zoey, offers a “large cash award” and makes an impassioned plea for her return: “This baby girl means a lot to me and has been through a lot recently, I just want her back safe and sound.”
