NEW ORLEANS — New Orleans police said they are looking for two men accused of striking and robbing a man at gunpoint March 11 on Cadiz Street.

A man was walking in the 800 block of Cadiz about 8:15 p.m. when he was struck with an unknown object and knocked to the ground, a police news release says.

Two unknown men walked up to the victim and one of them pointed a handgun at the victim and yelled, “Give me your wallet,” the release says.

The victim gave the armed man his wallet, which contained $40, two credit cards and an ID, the release says.

The two men then fled in an unknown direction, the release says.
