Hal Carper, executive vice president for strategy and new ventures for Tyson Foods Inc., will be keynote speaker Monday in the World Trade Center of New Orleans’ Executive Speaker Series.

The event starts at 8 a.m. in the Westin New Orleans Canal Place,12th-floor Ballroom II,

100 Rue Iberville St., New Orleans.

Carper will discuss the company’ growth strategy for its U.S. and global operations, as well as challenges and opportunities presented by the industry and growing global consumption.

The Springdale, Arkansas, company is the world’s second-largest processor and marketer of chicken, beef and pork, and annually exports the largest percentage of beef out of the United States.
