There's a 90 percent chance of rain Saturday with rainfall totals estimated anywhere from one-half inch to one-and-a-half inches, the National Weather Service says. An area of low pressure in the Gulf of Mexico is the reason for the rain-maker. The high temperature will be in the low 60s.

Saturday night doesn't look much drier with an 80 percent chance of rain. The low will be in the low 50s.

Krewes rolling Saturday include Krewe du Vieux and Delusion (French Quarter) and Poseidon (Slidell).

A cold front will move through Sunday morning and will end the rain by Sunday afternoon. It will then remain mostly cloudy with highs in the lower 60s.

Parades rolling Sunday include Little Rascals (Metairie) and Slidellians, Bilge and Perseus (Slidell).
