COLUMBIA, Mo. — The LSU volleyball team will look to build on its season’s best three-match winning streak as it continues a four-match road swing Sunday when the Tigers make their first trip to SEC newcomer Missouri.

First serve is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. from the Hearnes Center.

Earlier this season, LSU (12-13, 8-8 SEC) fell in a four-set battle to Missouri (17-9, 8-7) at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. Desiree Elliott ripped a match-high 19 kills on .343 hitting percentage, while Helen Boyle and Madie Jones powered home 15 kills apiece.

Mizzou is coming off a 3-0 setback to SEC frontrunner and No. 16 Florida. The Tigers are sparked by Lisa Henning and Whitney Little. Henning holds the top spot on the SEC leaderboard with 4.76 kills per set whereas Little has tallied 1.62 blocks per set to pace the conference in league play.

In its last game, LSU beat Georgia 3-1 behind Cati Leak’s career performance. The freshman right-side hitter had a career-high 16 kills on a career-best .484 hitting percentage. She also registered 12 digs to turn in her first double-double effort since the season’s opening weekend.
