The teams of Sam Lavigne and Richard Young and Jay Leblanc and Chad Braud won first place in the Pelican Point MGA Four Ball tournament Saturday.
Lavigne and Young had the first-place gross score, while Leblanc and Braud had the first-place net score.
Shawn Kjar and Ryan Schulz had the second-place gross score, while DJ Johnson and Paul Castro had the second net score.
In the first flight, Rusty Tucker and Dennis Hoshman had the first-place gross score, while David Burch and Clay Waddell had the second-place gross score.
Scott Waguespack and Guy Schexnaydre had the first-place net score, while Jeff Willey and Miles Holley had the second-place net score.
Allen Walker and Curtis Domingue had the top gross score in the second flight, while Mike Sittig and Aaron McKenna had the second-place gross score.
Steve Burt and Kirk Pastorick had the first-place net score, while Joe and Brian Harrison finished second.
TIPTON WINS WESTDALE LGA TITLE: Amy Tipton shot a 174 to win the Westdale Championship at Webb Memorial last week.
Tipton also claimed medalist honors with a first-day score of 87. Tipton also won the longest drive and the low putts (29) for Division A.
Pat Morgan won the closest to the pin competition.
Jan Doss Owen won the first flight with a 182, edging Pat Morgan, who shot 183. Tina Griffin claimed third with a 186.
Thelma Price won the second flight (192), followed by Patti Nelson (103), and Dee Dee Becnel (104). Nelson also won the longest drive contest and the Closest to the pin in Divsion B. Linda Booth won low putts with 32.
Karen Jantzer won the third flight with a score of 200. Ann Flack was second with a 202, and Karen Toney finished third with a 209.
GREEN DOMINATES HOWELL PARK TOURNAMENT: Brian Green was a three-category winner in the Howell Park weekly Sunday tournament with a low front nine even-par 36, a low back nine winning total of even-par 36. That enabled Green to win the 18-hole championship with a round of 72. He was followed by Lam Hill with a 74.
ST. JUDE TOURNEY WINNERS NAMED: Pat Pertuit of Marrero won a 40-shoe playoff over Bayou Vista’s Dudley Michel to win the Class A title at the St. Jude fall horseshoe tournament Fundraiser at Kemper Williams Park in Patterson.
Bayou Vista’s Tim Gilmore was third in Class A.
Morgan City’s Burnie Williams won the Class B title, followed by Jimmy Percle of Morgan City and A.J. Duplantier of Harahan.
In Class C, Eddie Guidry of Port Allen won the title, defeating Cheryl Matt of Lake Charles in a 40-shoe playoff. Mack Tibodeaux of Lake Arthur was third.
Mike Fonseca of Harahan took the Class D title after he, Ivory Hilliard of Patterson and Julius Lovell of Bayou L’Ourse were tied after regulation. Hilliard defeated Lovell in a 40-shoe game, and Fonseca, who drew a bye, defeated Hilliard to win the title.
