SULPHUR — Heavy rains and a threat of flash floods have prompted the LHSAA to delay all of Saturday’s semifinal games at the Allstate Sugar Bowl/LHSAA Fast Pitch 56 State Softball tournament at Frasch Park.
Semifinal games in all seven classes were scheduled for 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday LHSAA officials will be monitoring weather conditions to determine what steps to take next. LHSAA media coordinator Jacob Doyle said teams will be notified about when games will resume.
The ceremony for the LHSAA’s All-Academic softball award recipients will be held one hour before the semifinals resume.
