Terence Williams, who served as Redemptorist High's football coach from 2013-2015, was named director of the Louisiana High School Coaches Association on Tuesday.

Before coaching at Redemptorist, Williams was a teacher/coach/athletic director at Donaldsonville High, Leesville High, University Lab, Jackson High and Christian Life Academy. Williams has served on the Louisiana High School Athletic Association's Executive Committee since 2012 and the LHSCA’s Executive Council since 2010.

He also serves on the Louisiana Football Coaches Association board as well as the Louisiana High School Sports Hall of Fame Selection Committee.

As director of the LHSCA, Williams will be responsible for the football, volleyball, basketball, soccer, baseball and softball all-star games, the summer LHSCA Coaches’ Clinic, the LHSCA January business meeting as well as coaches’ calendars, directories, cards and any other duties assigned by the Executive Director.
