New Orleans Pelicans center DeMarcus Cousins (0) heads up court after scoring during the first half of an NBA basketball game Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018, at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.

The Pelicans return home to face the Chicago Bulls at 7 p.m. on Monday night in the Smoothie King Center. Here are three things to know:

Jrue Holiday has been praised often this season for his ability as a two-way player, and he’s done much of his defensive work on the perimeter. The guard ranks No. 3 in the NBA for contesting 3-pointers, challenging 208 different attempts this season.

Quincy Pondexter missed 164 consecutive games while on the Pelicans’ roster, suffering through an array of knee surgeries and even a staph infection over the course of two full seasons. Now, Pondexter is contributing for the Bulls after the Pelicans traded him this summer, averaging 2.3 points in 9.3 minutes per game.

DeMarcus Cousins drew a pair of charges in Saturday’s win over the Memphis Grizzlies, bringing him to 21 on the season and within one of NBA leader Kyle Lowry. One was particularly impressive, when Cousins ran the length of the floor to plant himself in front of a driving Wayne Selden.
