New Orleans sports are headed to SeatGeek.
The online ticketing company has announced a deal to become the primary ticketing platform for the Saints and Pelicans. The deal is the first of its kind for the company in the NFL and NBA.
“Our number one priority is our fans, therefore we are partnering with SeatGeek to deliver the absolute best ticketing experience,” said New Orleans Saints and Pelicans President Dennis Lauscha in the release. “We are extremely proud of this partnership.”
The new partnership will begin next season for both teams, a shift from the longtime agreements with TicketMaster. Saints officials had said recently they were looking into a possible change that would provide a more fan-friendly and hassle-free experience.
