WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W. Va. — Next stop: Saints headquarters in Metairie, La.

Your favorite guys in Black & Gold are preparing for their final day of practice in The Mountain State, full of fair weather, scenic backgrounds and rosy dorm rooms. And, let’s not forget the Tennessee Titans, which the Saints host on Saturday at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The game marks the Saints’ home opener.

ON TODAY’S AGENDA: The Saints practice from 7:50-10:40 a.m. CDT at The Greenbrier. The afternoon walkthrough will run from 4:30-5:30 p.m.

ABOUT TUESDAY: Drew Brees and Champ Bailey returned from injuries in a limited role, increasing their chances of being available against the Titans. Meanwhile, cornerback Corey White continued to showcase his refinded skills, batting away passes to Joseph Morgan and Marques Colston. Rookie CB Stanley Jean-Baptiste enjoyed similar success, and the defensive pass rush was able to penetrate the pocket, making competitions even more difficult for quarterbacks Ryan Griffin and Luke McCown.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR: Now that Bailey is inching closer to his return, we will discover if he has to work his way back up the depth chart, or is the starting role reserved for the 12-time Pro Bowler. And, perhaps Wednesday is the day Brees jumps back into the practice mix.
