Playing in front of a loud, frenzied crowd in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, the Saints dominated a young, not-ready-for-prime time Miami Dolphins team to remain undefeated on Monday.
Drew Brees passed for 413 yards and four touchdowns and Darren Sproles scored to touchdowns to lead New Orleans to a 38-17 victory against the Dolphins.
The Saints (4-0) took the opening possession of the game and drove 82 yards on six plays for a touchdown, which came on a 5-yard run by Sproles, and were never threatened.
New Orleans lead 21-10 when Sproles caught a 13-yard touchdown pass from Brees with 55 seconds left in the first half.
The Saints led 21-10 at halftime.
