WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W. Va. — With Jack Tabb nursing an injury suffered earlier this week in practice, the Saints brought in a pair of tight ends to work out on Friday morning.

One of the players working out was former UMass tight end Jean Sifrin, according to a source. The identity of the other is not known.

Sifrin (6-foot-5) caught 41 passes for 637 yards with six touchdowns in 2014 as a junior.

The 27-year-old signed with the Colts as an undrafted free agent but was cut in June.

Coach Sean Payton said the Saints could sign a tight end in the near future.
