That Saints signed wide receiver Cameron Meredith a two-year deal worth $9.5 million, according to a source. The contract comes with $5.35 million in guarantees, including a $3.5 million signing bonus.

Meredith will count $2.7 million against the salary cap in 2017, with a fully guaranteed base salary of $850,000. He can also earn a $100,000 workout bonus.

His base salary jumps in 2019 jumps to $3.4 million. His deal also comes with a $1 million roster bonus, guaranteed for skill and injury, and $34,375 million in per-game roster bonuses. The workout bonus remains in place. His cap number for the season is $6.8 million.


Base salary: $850,000 (fully guaranteed)

Base salary: $3.4 million

Roster bonus: $1 million (guaranteed for skill and injury)

Roster bonus per game: $34,375 (up to $550,000)
