The Baby Cakes and Sky Sox played a rain-shortened game Wednesday night with Colorado Springs defeating New Orleans 9-2 in five innings.

The Sky Sox scored three first-inning runs including back-to-back home runs by Orlando Arcia and Tyrone Taylor.

The Sky Sox led 4-0 when the Baby Cakes scored a pair of runs in the fourth inning to cut the lead to 4-2.

Colorado Springs sent nine batters to the plate in the fifth scoring five runs when the game went to a rain-delay and was called an hour later.
