Don't believe one season of improvement can make a big difference? Green is proof that it indeed does. He increased his average score by 28 pins per game during a senior season that ended just short of the LHSAA postseason. Green led all local boys competitors with a 229.27 per game average in 33 regular-season games and won 31 points for the Patriots. His season average was the best statewide and ranks second in LHSAA bowling history. Green bowled a best single game of 278 and a high series of 756 in the regular season. He also rolled a recent 300 -- a perfect game -- at a non-LHSAA event.
